The Medical Social Work Team in Pohang St Mary's Hospital is practicing the love of Jesus Christ for the suffering patient and family for the purpose of holistic healing to spread and practice the sincere love of Jesu by reproducing and imitate the healing service of Jesus Christ in us.
In the Medical Social Work team, professionally clinically trained and qualified medical social workers are placed according to the Paragraph 2-6 of the Article 28 under the Enforcement Regulation of the Medical Law. Therefore, the hospital has established the Medical Social Work team to help solve and coordinate various problems related to outpatients and inpatients and their families and thus to enable effective treatment and social adaptation after discharge through consultation. It is a team that assists and carries out professional medical social welfare services.
